Femmes à la cascade :
Huile sur toile 80 cm X 60 cm

Je me suis rendu aux cascades pour les visiter
J'y ai découvert des rochers entre lesquels
Chantait une eau abondante
J'ai remarqué quatre jeunes femmes qui y lavaient du linge
La première a l'éclat de la lune, la deuxième celui du cristal,
La troisième, Ô mon frère, a enflammé mon cœur,
Et la quatrième, Ô mon frère, est une brûlure sans feu…

I went to waterfalls to visit them
I discovered it cliffs among which
Sang a plentiful water
I noticed four young women whom there washed the linen
The first has the burst of the moon, the second that of the crystal,The third, OH my brother, inflamed my heart,
And the fourth, OH my brother, is a burn without fire…
